Depending on how much prior knowledge you bring into the chess game, you can have every piece introduced to you at your own pace. Naturally Prince Kaspar is ready to play a round of chess with you at any time. First you have to defeat him, then youre allowed to also play with Captn Black.

Fun setting. It would be nice if you could back up one move in the tutorials rather than start over and have captions for speech for playing in places sound isnt appropriate.

Some bad moments

In two people mode black pieces are upside down. Instead it should be rotated on each turn. Easy to correct.

Im not a beginner, but I do not recommend this for those that are. Almost immediately, on the get paun to the other end and cause checkmate goal the computer level is way to high, its very hard to beat (and this it isnt even an actual game yet, just training). They expect you to know how other pieces move before youve learned about them (to cause that checkmate Ive mentioned earlier. Please fix this game.
